Rachel Harper

Hello! I'm Rachel, with over 10 years experience in financial services.

About me and my role:

My work experience in Financial Services spans over 10 years, and during that time I have developed and enhanced my Paraplanning skills. I have a level 4 diploma and I am pursuing Chartered status.

As a Paraplanner, I believe it is my job to help an adviser deliver a comprehensive and compliant report but my passion is to ensure that the report is personal, concise and produces the best outcome for the client.

Who am I at home?

I am a scuba diving instructor and spend my Monday nights teaching diving in a swimming pool and as many weekends as possible diving the cold but fascinating seas around Scotland, once in a while venturing further afield to the warm waters of the Red Sea. I also enjoy travelling, my favorite trip was exploring Thailand and spending a week at an Elephant sanctuary.

My puppy Bailey is an English Springer Spaniel, I love training him, however, despite his big ears he seems to be deaf to my commands. There is nothing I enjoy more than exploring the local footpaths and fells with Bailey and returning tired and covered in mud.

Our four key elements for paraplanning success:

“A thing that is composed of two or more separate elements; a mixture.”

Expertise & Excellence

The term suggests expertise and excellence: The term "compound" implies that the Paraplanning services offered by our business are of a high quality, and that our team has excellent knowledge and experience in Financial Planning.

Collaborative

When attributing this to the Financial Planning industry, we suggest that our Paraplanners will work closely with our clients, bringing various elements of the process together, to create customised outputs that are tailored to your client's unique situation.

Unique

It's unique: ‘Compound Paraplanning’ is not commonly used in the Financial Planning industry, which we believe will help our company stand out from competitors and make a memorable impression on our potential clients.

Memorable

It's easy to remember: We believe that ‘Compound Paraplanning’ has a nice ring to it and is easy to remember, which is important when it comes to creating a brand that our clients will remember and (hopefully) refer to others.
